Could your cat or dog be a life saver?

We are launching our very own blood donor register for cats and dogs to help other patients in need of this life saving treatment. There are many reasons we may need to give blood to a patient such as platelet disorders, anaemia and severe blood loss to name a few.

If your pet is healthy, fully vaccinated with no known illness, friendly and calm when handled, between 1-8 years old, never travelled abroad and is weighing over 4kg if a cat and over 25kg for a dog then please let us know if you would like them to be a life saver!

For more information visit the blood donor page on our services list on the website or ring the surgery on the following number 01275 847400.

Cat Friendly Clinic coming soon!

Vale Vets is currently in the process of registering to be a cat friendly clinic!

What does this mean to you as a client? It means we will soon be able to offer an environment which is less stressful for cats by having cat only consult times, places to put your cat box as cats feel safer higher up and a new deluxe suit if your cat has to stay in the hospital for a length of time. This is coming at no extra cost to you as a client but gives you piece of mind that the team at Vale Vets is striving to make you and your cats visit to the vets that little bit less stressful.

For more details please ring 01275 847400.

Easter Bunny- Diet and Dental Advice!

It's coming up to Easter so book now for your free Easter Bunny nurse clinic! The clinics will be used to discuss dietary needs, assess patient Body Condition Score and weight. A diet plan will then be created with the nurse for what is best for your bunny. A dental check can also be performed with a demonstration of how you can do it at home for the prevention of dental disease.

To book an appointment please ring our reception team on 01275 847400.
